Life in the Fast Lane

Happenings here:

Colonoscopy over, yes! Check that one off the list.

Bible Quizzing in full force. Spare moments spent making up Quiz Questions. Practice on Friday. Practice next week. Quizzing on the 13th.

Awana. Only one verse behind for me. Hurry! Hurry!

Laundry. Only about 2 accumulating loads.

House. Getting messier by the moment.

Cars. One messed up door. Two messed up windshields. Three need washing and a partridge in a pear tree.

Trips. Back and forth carting children to and fro, an hour each way, on Friday, Saturday and Monday. What kind of mother would let them miss a birthday party?

Parties. Working on Kate's 18th and hoping the package to plan arrives tomorrow.

Testing. There is no end. SAT results looming for one. COMPASS testing for another.

Work. Praying for Rob's survival.

Houses for sale. Ours still for sale.

Vacations. None on the horizon. Must change that.

Meal plans. A day at a time. White chili to eat and desserts for Friday and Saturday.

Fun times: Lunch on Friday, dinner on Sat. Superbowl party.

Daily: Trying to get all my steps in.

A bit boring I know, but about all my "weary" self can think to post for now.

How About Groundhog Day?

I thought it was time to change my blog. I like the groundhog and it will be his day soon so I thought I would see how everyone felt about groundhog day. It is relatively unnoticed by most. I enjoy winter so I am usually anxious for him to see his shadow or is that vice-versa. It is too late and I am too tired to remember which is which.

This year, however, I am a bit more anxious for spring than usually. I have big plans for a garden and am anxious to be able to get outside earlier than usual. We will see how much I actually get accomplished. I hope the boys will be eager to help. Kelly is good to help with outside work, too

So leave me a comment and let me know how you feel about Mr. Groundhog and what your spring plans are looking like.
