Nina, this One is for You

I totally agree with you about the before and after pictures. I guess beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.

However, I don't watch reruns very often. You would think I would because I like to know how a story ends. I adore a Cinderella story and anything else not so much. Not being much of a tv fan I can usually only manage to sit through a show once, but not a second time. There are a few exceptions like The Sound of Music and Star Wars.

You know I am a laundry freak and I take my laundry out as soon as the dryer buzzes. But alas, the children did not inherit the freakish tendencies and they can't count the number of times they hit fluff. Don't forget I am the one that does all the ironing for a man who wears dress shirts.

Cold cereal for dinner is also not a favorite of mine, but I do like the do it yourself nights and am never bothered by the kids or their Dad having cold cereal if it thrills them to do so.

So I guess between you and me you are the only one of us who does most of these things, but I have my own "oddities". Below you will find a few.

Am I the only One Who:

1. If I am not really enjoying the direction a book is taking I will read the end to see if I want to finish the book. I normally do, but have been known to quit reading if the ending doesn't suit me.

2. Has read tons of articles on how to be neat and organized and judging by my house you would think I was illiterate.

3.  Still has all of my photos in boxes and doesn't really care because I still can't upload pictures to my computer, but I do now know the difference between uploading and downloading:).

4.  Thinks that chores and work is the answer to most of life's difficult moments?

5.  Wants to color my hair, but can't imagine if I will like it or not.

Oh, I never read the end of the book first. I definitely like to be surprised by the ending.

I do agree though that I'd like to color my hair (make that, 'hide the grey') but I'm not so worried about how it's going to turn out, as I am worried about the expense of maintaining it! You know I'm cheap :) Thanks for sharing your quirks - nice to know we all have them :)

Oh, mom! I can't tell you how many times Robyn and I have said to each other that, "cleaning will make it all better and even if it won't then at least it will be clean!" I won't color my hair because I know I will be too lazy to keep the roots from showing. I just realized reading the end of the book can save you a lot of money...:)Love you,Mom!
